Night 22

Rough night for Alex; he freaked out right before bedtime for no apparent reason. I'm curious to see if he and Ian talk about what was wrong with him. Once we left, Alex screamed for a long time about nothing in specific, and then moved on to needing to be covered. Between the screams, I can hear Ian trying to calm him down with talk of his lovey. Once he calmed down enough, they began to talk.

Daddy goes in since mommy, as Ian correctly stated, is at the dollar store. Ellie's party is Saturday, and I had to run there to get a few more items for it. After I put them to bed, I ran to the store, so thankfully, I missed most of the crying! Daddy covers them and tells them they are good boys and he loves them.

And silence. One of these days, I'm hoping to figure out what the "cow" that they talk about is. They do not have a fear of the animal in books or pictures, so I have no idea why they always go back to a cow scaring them. Maybe I'm not hearing it correctly; I have no idea. One of these days, I'll figure it out.
