Some quiet talking I can't make out

A note about the names Note and Mitt. In March, we had friends over for dinner. During the meal, they asked which boy was which, so we asked Ian, who are you? He responded he's Note. Then when we asked Alex, he chimed in with his name being Mitt. They stuck with them all night, if we tried to use their real names. Since then, on and off they call themselves those names. I have no idea how they came up with them!
Another note; the boys are not sick at all and never complain during the day that they are feeling sick. I chuckle each night now, as I shut their door and hear through the door that they are sick.
I have been tracking my new recorder, and while amazon says it is expected on Friday, I was pretty sure it was coming today, based on where it was this morning. But, it still has not arrived. Hopefully it will come tomorrow. I am anxious to see if this process becomes easier with the other device.
