Alex starts singing the bumblebee song again, when, in the middle, the alarm siren sounds! We live right by a public park, so when lightning is coming, a long, loud siren sounds at the park. Tonight it came at the worst time, as I was putting Ellie to bed, and all kids were in bed but still awake.

And we're off to sleep...some explanations: A week ago, we were all sick, and Alex did throw up on daddy. Our sickness must also by why each night, after no complaints during the day, they discuss that they are both sick.
Also, Ian did have a bloody nose tonight, thanks to an over-eager sister who was trying to teach him how to do a somersault. And they did celebrate their teacher, Miss Amy's, birthday in school today!
